Another Fluval Evo set up

After reading most of the forums on reef2reef and watching BulkReefSupply youtube videos I decided to set up my first saltwater reef tank. I’m pretty hooked!
so far I have
2 clowns
2 snails
5 crabs

im using alot of media which most is unnecessary at this early stage.

chamber 1- INTANK MEDIA BASKET ($55.99 US)after I took out fluval protein skimmer ($52.99 US)because it was loud and read a lot of negative posts.
in chamber 1. Is INTANKE fiter floss($11.99 US), SEAPORA Filter Floss ($19.99)
Fluval Bio MAX ($12.00 US)
chamber 2- INTANK MEDIA BASKET ($49.00 US)
SEACHEM MATRIX CARBON 100ml ($8.40 US)
SEACHEM PURIGEN 100ml ($10.65 US)
FILTER FLOSS
SEACHEM MATRIX ($9.12 US)

using a HYGGER mini wave maker DC power head 1600 GPH ($69.00 US)

Chamber 3 - stock pump and heater

Im learning as I go and eventually will get some Corals to fill the Rocks

I thought it was little early to add CUC but my LFS said to go for it. I was hoping there’s enough food for them While the tank matures

I started an Evo 13.5 a few weeks ago, and my 2 snails are constantly snarfing on my coral frags….What else should I feed them? Shouldn’t they be eating/cleaning the rock and bottom, or does something else do that?
Currently I’m adding a small pinch of small pellet food every other day….
