Just a lil backstory. I have a 155 gallon bow tank. Used to be fresh water tank. It had cichlids and then a arowana I had a house fire. Lost alot but the tank survived. I lost the light fixture from stuff falling on it. Fishes died. Had some standing water in there for about a month or 2 before we was able to actually get in the and syphon the water out and take everything out of it. The seals seem fine. I filled it half way no leaks. I got some water stains (calcium) that doesnt seem to come out no matter what I try. Razor, ajax almost any cleaner I can think of. But I would like to get this beauty back. And since it's in my basement/ work shop I would love to attempt a salt water tank so I can just stare and my customers can enjoy the view... I been staring at my tank for a while and just want to see something beautiful now instead of looking at it he way it is. It's just a reminder of the fire. it's time to move on. I know its gonna take me a while to get where I want it and I'm ok with that. I watched the 52 weeks of reefing by brs very informative. Alot to take in and remember. Anyway all I have is my tank the stand and a fx5 filter which from my understanding cant be used ♂♂. here are a couple pics of the setup
