Hey guys trying to identify what this is. Have been gone for 5 days and had friend feed the fish while I was away but I just completed a water change and no idea what this is or where it came from any idea? Was attached to my live rock. Very sponge like, almost like a blood clot. Thanks

Looks like Macro Algae... I could definitely be wrong, but that's the first impression I get.

Doesn’t look like a problem ? Just wanna make sure it’s not something negative for the system as have never seen this until today
