I know the photo is basically hot garbage, but its the best I can do for the moment. This algae has been a persistent pain in the rear and nothing in the tank seems to go after it, including: tangs, turbo's, trochus's, hermits, or my urchin. It appears to be more brown when viewed from outside the tank and it a bit slimy to the touch and has a firm foothold. I have ran both a Chemi clean and Reef flux treat on the tank with zero results. Any ideas?

could be bryopsis or chrysophytes if nothing is eating it. picture of what it looks like in the tank would help

edit: also, if the algae is too long, your CUC won’t touch it so perhaps pulling it off and scraping what you can will entice them to begin eating new growth
