hmm, funny. some days ago the vectra was not compatible yet. which is also weird, two of my 4 radion g4 per lamps are compatible and two are not. the older ones (3 years old) are compatible and the new ones (one bought in 2018 and one in 2019) are not.

Of course this happens as I buy the last gen 4 pro for my tank
You have to hand it to them for keeping the launch under wraps until the last week.

They are raising wholesale/retail prices of their lineup, including G4 Pros, effective 2/1 next year. So I don’t think a G5 is in the works.

(;) you didn’t hear this from me)
Ecotech has the G5 on the website.

Found this download on the Ecotech web site this morning...looks like they switched the pics for the XR15Blue and Pro on the last spec page (note the number of Photo Red LEDs in the description vs. picture)

interesting. They refer to ‘caustics’ in a couple of places. What does that mean? Perhaps it’s a spell check error and they meant aesthetics or acoustics (noise levels)?

The Philips site does a pretty good job explaining caustics related to lighting.

Thanks for the link. Don’t know that I recall reading that term as applied to tank lighting before, but it makes perfect sense.
