Any Reefers in the Westminster (Carrol County) area

I'm a newbie to the saltwater world and I wanted to see if there are any reefers in my area, I'm in Finksburg, MD. I'd be interested in getting together, I looking to soak up your knowledge and wisdom. I'm still in the early stages of planning and purchasing parts and trying to make all the right decisions based on what I want for my tank.

If any anyone is interested let me know.

You're right in MDRC territory They're a pretty active club, last I knew it. You're also in WAMAS territory which is a huge club.

I have reached out to join MDRC but they don't seem to very active currently and I'm on the out skirts of the WAMAS territory as well.

You could come hang out with the Delaware Reef Club. We're a bit north of you, but we're friendly

Im in the Carroll county area as well. I joined CMAS, a great group of people that are making changes to ramp up members.

I'm a little Northeast of you in Perry Hall. I am a member of MDRC and it has been quiet on the forum lately. It has always been more of a meeting/frag swap type of club than a very active forum. Keep checking the MDRC site as there will likely be a meeting soon. Most meetings are either in Southern PA or the Hagerstown area.

Nice, whats your setup (display tank size, sump size ...) I just got mine up and running after currently stuff for months, its a 60gal display with a 55gal sump. I have finally gotten to the point a where I can add fish. I'm going to add 2 clown's on Friday.
