Anybody cut the stems off of frag plugs? What do you use?

Coral frag cutters. .
The large ones cut them off no problem .
I have used wire cutters before too

Good luck cutting ORA plastic plugs with bone cutters.. you litterally need a diamond tipped blade to cut those stupid plugs.. lol

But for regular plugs i just use wire cutters. I have a nice set made in the usa for crimping butt connectors and they can cut thick barbed wire with ease

I put a broad sharp chisel at the base of the coral, preferably directly at the glue, give it a solid tap, and usually the coral pops right off along the glue.

I did use bone cutters to cut stems. Made for a fun game trying to shoot the stems at anyone nearby. I since moved on to just drilling a 7/16” hole in the rock with a DIY Bit. Bit welded to 1/2” stainless steel rod.
