I never really got into these because I know they grow pretty quick but I got suprised at the local fish store. They had a tiny fluorescent super orange anacropora frag there, I believe it’s a Forbesi? I haven’t seen that before so I was wondering what other kinds people had? I always see the green one in peoples tanks.
What actually suprised me at the local store was the fact that he had ordered new corals from a good vendor. They all have been dry of any good sps for a year plus easily. I also got a nice deepwater that looks like it could have some nice blue in the tips, not sure on the I’d.

I have the Jason fox one it looks green in pictures it’s really yellow. It’s all ruined now dead on the inside due my mated pair of springeri’s live in it and spawn laying the egg in the core lol. Sorry if you wanted to See the orange ones I definitely want to get one soon.

I have my green goblin colony for about a year now. Grew from a 1in gray with one branch off at the side. Just recieved a "super red" (not that super) a few weeks ago. Second from the left in the frag rack

I haven't seen any orange ones, if there are I'd love to see, I pretty much though they only came in shades of green/yellow(I'd say depending on iron levels in tanks) and reds. But I guess orange could be a off shoot of red?

Motortrendz, did you see my picture at the bottom of my post? It looks dark orange but it’s just the camera, it’s like a setosa under 10k orange. I just hope I can keep it growing til it gets to a decent size, I rarely buy small frags like this.
Can you get a better pic of the red one on the rack? I would love to see it closer.
Jetta, I want to see any color that someone wants to share not just orange. I do see the green ones often and never seen one look yellow but it sounds cool. I saw a green one with yellow polyps searching through pics and that looked really cool but I am almost sure it was a reef raft coral.

Mine fell upside down but I found it before it died. It seems really tolerant because anything else would have been dead. Really cool colony tony. Mine seems like it wants to branch in a busy form but it’s too early to tell for sure.

Updates on the anacropora and the deepwater I got at the same store. The anacropora is defiantly growing denser than most of the Jason fox pics I see. Tnyr5 you think it’s the same type of anacropora and it’s just the higher light making it dense? I wonder what sets the different anacropora apart.
The smooth skinned piece I am really loving with the nice blue in it. Here are some quick camera filter pics, I will post the halide pics when the lights come on.

Yea I think it’s a granny far as I can tell but the growth on them is so different depending on where they are found I always have trouble with I’d on them. Like the skyline fragment looks like it has fat puffy branches and tips and this one has extremely small branches that cluster tightly. Maybe when the skyline starts growing in my tank it will look similar.

As long as people keep thinking there are 1000s of different color variants of tenuis then I don’t think there will be any new fad. But once people realize the differences in a lot of these high end tenuis are slight then there are a few options for the new hot acros.

Just added my frag yesterday. I really like the growth structure however didn't know it wasn't an encrusting type so I wish I would've glued it down better. The frag looks green in the picture but is more yellow to the eye.

I got a bleached colony of the green from someone and it was really thin windy branches so I just crushed it up and threw the frags in the corner. Hopefully they will grow together and form a tight nice colony.

I am suprised I have not seen any more of the blue granulosa out there. It came from eye catching corals so I know others should have it. Wierd the only other frags of similar coral for sale is on reef farmers.

Yea that’s what I have seen in others tanks, fast growth, hope the one I put in the corner of my tank grows slower in the low light.
How does everyone’s orange/red variant grow?
