Anyone have success with Hyposalinity? Or should you just go straight for copper?

I have a QT tank that's been cycled for awhile.

Tang in my DT definitely has ich, so I need to leave it fallow.

Trying to decide whether I want to do copper or Hypo in the QT.

Any suggestions?

Leave tang in DT and follow ich management lol you probly don’t like my idea but I’ve gotten rid of ich every time and it does not come back - feed healthy nutritious foods with vitamin supplements (LRS reef frenzy with selcon)

I've done both. I like coppersafe for 30 days, it works well for me and I can dose/test for it easily since I use it so much. For hypo, you need to get to a specific gravity of 1.009 and hold it there for 30 days. Sometimes, you'll get Uronema or Amyloodinium going though, and hypo doesn't control them.

How long did it take? I've been trying to manage it for about a week now.

Been feeding Mysis and Spirulina Brine all soaked in selcon/garlic. I've also been dosing a little Stress Guard to help with the slime coat, but about day 7 now and it's as bad as it's been.

I think it's time to change. Thanks for the advice @Jay Hemdal

It took about a week , the only addition to that is I used garlic soaked nori and life spectrum pellets, forgot to mention also run UV in DT
