Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing well. Anyone know what’s goin on with my acan? I’m new to keeping acans so I’m not sure if this is normal or not, i bought this frag with about 3 heads on it and since I’ve been feeding it, it sprouted a couple new heads and it’s been plump and full since I got it. Today I noticed my acan was a little shrunken, the new heads had their feeder tentacles out but the original heads were kinda shrunken and I can see the calcium base around each head, is this a growing phase or something? (It’s the one in the back-middle)

What are your parameters? What light are you using? Acans like a decent amount of mag in my experience, 1350+. They also really benefit from target feedings with fresh or frozen meaty foods.

All my acans are doing great, today that one in particular just wasn’t looking like it’s usual self and I thought maybe it’s growing or something. I spot feed at least 3 times a week so they’re always happy and healthy.
