I just recently started this tank about two weeks ago and I have noticed this white growth on the rocks. The rocks are caribsea liferock and I used Arag-alive sand. Anyone know what this is?

If it is a sponge id keep it. You can always scrape it off later if you dont like it. I just looked at the pic again and my 2nd thought is it could be a spaghetti worm so if you see what looks like long strings coming out of it, then that's what it is. Totally harmless.

So i was looking through some threads here this morning and saw what might look like a larger version of what you have growing i your tank. The headline of the thread is "white sponge killing zoas" if that pic looks like a bigger version of what you have, get rid of it. Sorrry for any confusion.
