Just add this to your tank. Your sponges will be gone in no time.

Antfarm, it is delicate work for the most part and I have been doing it but it is an ongoing job. Kind of tiring but if you want to take a stab at it I can PM you my address. I am near Riverhead.

Tank121. I have had those and moorish Idols over the years and nothing touches this particular sponge as it is to tough. It is also photosynthetic so unlike most sponges that fish eat.

This stuff is like leather and hard to tear with your hands. It's this blue stuff.

Nano15g. Thanks. But you are kind of far from me, like a couple of hours. :)

Ant farm is a lot closer but thanks. I will have to figure out when I can do this. I did remove much of it from my hammer corals and luckily my cast was removed today and now I have a removable one so I should be able to manage.

I probably will be able to get to it myself now but thanks for the offer to help.

No that will not kill them. A blast furnace or maybe a bath in Anthrax may though.

I have some of this sponge in my tank. It’s pretty! Definitely hardy though and I can see how it could get out of hand after 50 years.
