I just want to confirm, that the AP9X has 0-10V ports can fully control my older A360WE lights, with the same functions as I get today with the A Series Spectral Controller?

I have the controller for the A360WE(s) today running three A360WE(s), but it would be great it I add a AP9X to be able to control them all from the AP9X and the App.

Looks that way to me. Click on the photos, blow them up, and read the fine print on the right.

Start at 2 minutes in.

Looks like the AP9X app can flip over to the old Spectral Controller settings.

Thanks, looks like it should do what I need then. I could run with the older controller, but this way I can get everything on a single controller and repurpose the old one for another tank.

Pushing 4 A360Xs

If you buy the 9X the new violet channel is super nice

Yes, it can control the older "we" versions, as well as H series lights. It essentially has the Wi-Fi dongle built in and will act like the central hub to all connected lights, whether they are the new "x" series or older. With the newer lights attached, you can create zones or group of lights. I believe you can connect up to 30 lights or some ridiculous number?
I learned a lot about the AP9x during my zoom session with them, but learned even more about the parent company, DiCon as well. Apex control is also in the works.

Thanks everyone for all the info. It all sounds great, now I just need to shake loose the money and go for it. One of my A360WE recently had a cooling fan go out, but I was able to replace it with a similar 60mm computer fan and get it going again. But they are all almost 6 years old, so getting ready for replacement and this may be a way to ease into it with an AP9X and keep a couple of the old A360WEs to fill the ends of the tank until I can get another AP9X. I only have three A360WEs on a 72x24x27 (LxWxD) tank which is mainly LPS, softies and shrooms now and it's fine, so I don't have super high light needs. I'm thinking a AP9X in the middle between the braces (the tank has two braces, every 24") and then put one of the A360WE on each end to fill in there should be better than I have now. It's an in-wall set up with the tank in a fish room behind my office wall, so I don't have to worry much about wires or anything, which makes things really easy.
