well i think i may have figured it out but not sure, i had both heaters in the same row (port 6 and 8 on eb8) and so i think that it was too much amperage on that leg so i move one to port 3 and so far so good. has anyone seen this before? i would hate for the alarm to go off when i am not here or when i am in a deep sleep...

still throwing an error:::
to recap,

i have a 300g MD and 100g sump. i have 2 300 watt titanium heaters and i run one as primary and second kicks on only if temp goes below 76 . when ever it kicks on my apex throws an alarm (audible) but does not show an alarm in fusion..??

i had both heaters on one eb8 on same leg (5 and 6) so i thought i fixed it by moving one heater to outlet 1 but that did not work so i moved it to outlet 1 on a separate eb8 and thought i fixed the issue but the alarm was triggered but again no alarm in fusion.

three questions:

1. why is it triggering an alarm?
2. why do i not get alarm in fusion if there is audible alarm on apex?
3. how do i fix it?

thank you in advance for help

Assuming it's the same as a Classic, go into the "SndAlm" outlet settings and post up a screenshot. That should help us figure it out.

here are the pages but as you see there is nothing there...i am a bit perplexed by this. i did fix it temporarily by taking all of my lights off the eb8 but i should not have to do that

Solved...I called support and they walked me through the issue and turns out that it was my APC that was sounding the alarm, not the apex...
turns out none of the neptune products except the display have a speaker or source to make sound, ok so i am a bit green....lol

now i know and now i need to go split that power up so its not all running through 1 APC
