Apex jr temp probe on Apex el?

I ordered a new temp probe for my Apex el and I didn’t realize until I received it that it’s for an apex jr. It’s model prbtmpjr. Will this still work on the apex el? I wanted to check before I take it out of the package.

It's the exact same temperature probe for all Apex models. For example, look at the product description when you purchase it from this site:

That’s kind of what I thought but I thought it was weird that this one was labeled specifically for the jr. Thanks for the help!
