Sense I updated in September I haven’t had anymore issues
Seems to have worked for me
I do have a apex classic and it was the same problem as what you are describing

Awesome I have a classic as well will update tonight after work hopefully it resolves it. Or maybe time to upgrade to be apex

I am having the same issue and don't want to update since it is randomly so should not be the operating system. At least that is my thought.

It looks like you are not updating to the latest firmware 4.53_4D19, but are updating the older firmware (4.53_AB17) that you already had on the Apex Classic

Yeah forgot to select it at first. Did re do and get ad19 in tho. It hasn't reset as of yet so fingers crossed

Hmm, going to have to check my firmware level and update- i have noticed my classic apex do this a couple times in the last week. Just shuts down and resets in about 20-30 seconds. Glad i found this thread, was worried it might be a faulty apex unit.

That's exactly what mine was doing can't say for sure that it fixed it yet but it has not done it since. Also had a fmm module out of date that needed to be updated after

I wonder lol. Had it running for over 2 years now with the same firmware and never had this issue till a couple weeks ago i first noticed it? Was setting up a new tank next to it and watched it power cycle. Came home from work and as soon as i walked in the door it power cycled again. Its never done this until 2 weeks ago lol.

Noticed my Apex classic doing this as well. Would do a random shut down and then restart. I will firmware update this weekend. Didn't noticed fusion telling me I was out of date.

So glad I found this thread. I'm about to leave town for vacation and was at my wits end trying to figure out why my apex sometimes reboots over and over. The ATO overfilling was a huge concern, but I was also worried some piece of gear was shorting out when it turned on.

I'm going to hope this firmware update fixed the problem. But i'm also going to take the ATO off the Apex while i'm out of town.

Mine has been doing the same randomly. Think I stopped it by resetting the router and WiFi adapter. Now my head unit isn’t powering on though.
