I upgraded to the new Apex a couple months ago and haven't had any problems with it. The WiFi connection worked great (much better than how I had the classic connected). Anyway, last night it lost contact with Fusion for no reason----no changes with anything on my network. I tried contacting Neptune, but no help available. Is the server down? If that's not the issue, does anyone have any suggestions to get me back online? I tried rebooting the base unit and my wifi router and modem all multiple times. No joy. The base unit is showing blue on the front indicator. Thanks in advance!

Problem solved! I found a post by @SuncrestReef that nailed my problem! That guy knows his Apex stuff and wins my favorite person of the day award!
Could you link that post? I searched, but can't seem to find it. My apex is doing the same thing.
I've tried resetting the unit, router and wifi. Nothing has changed since I installed it a couple of months ago, so I don't know why it would all of a sudden not be able to connect.

Edited: Got it to work. Not sure how....reset and reconnected to the wifi....said it didn't work, "couldn't find apex"....but it's working now. Go figure.

Here’s a copy of an email from Neptune support on the matter. Also note: I also turned off DHCP in Fusion’s network settings tab so now my Apex has a static IP. This will help prevent the problem in the future evidently. However, if you change out your router, you need to enable/disable again I guess so the new router can find the Apex.
Here’s the email:
If you have an iOS or android device follow this YouTube link below (the video is of iOS but the Android app can do this too) if you still can not connect then follow the steps below.

Make sure you have everything connected properly like this image:

(if your status light is blue like in the picture you can skip to step #3)

1. Now get a paper clip and hold down the pinhole reset button on the APEX Base unit for 5-10 Seconds or if the status light turns Blue. (whichever comes first)
2. The system will reboot and the status will flash and end on the color Blue.
3. Now get your tablet or smart phone and find the WIFI BROADCASTING SIGNAL from your APEX. It will read 'APEXSETUP_###'
4. Click on it. Wait for it to connect. || YOU MUST GET A CHECKMARK on a iOS ||
5. Once it's connected open the WEB BROWSER and type in 'apex.local' or '172.16.0.1'
6. It should load the local wifi signal page.
7. Log in and select a WIFI signal that is YOURS.
8. [https://www.neptunesystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Home_Network-1100x600-300x164.gif]
9. Type in your PASSWORD to YOUR WIFI.
10. Wait for the Apex to have the status light change to Orange.
11. Now put the computer or tablet back to your home network
12. Open up a new browser window and type in https://link.edgepilot.com/s/5e9302ba/gfD8yGL86EqtZ85jbEFLRw?u=http://apex.local/

Here is another link to this video to help resolve this issue.
