Appears I noticed some Dino snot on some turf algae. I have regular algae strands coming off the sand but also some Dino.
45 gallon tank. Here are latest parameters
28C7B547-6C30-43ED-82E5-0B0735A25F2E.png

I run a skimmer (shutting down for awhile) and an algae scrubber.
Old tank I fought dinos 2 times and won using h2o2 and bactra 7 dosing while overfeeding.

I also ran a small UV.

has anything changed since then or is that still the preferred method?

should I turn off algae scrubber?

Thanks in advance

Didn’t think you could get Dino when you have algae growing in tank

Bump

just measured phosphates at .00 on hanna

how do I get my nutrients back up with a skimmer and algae scrubber? Turn them both off and feed?
I’ve been using h2o2 and bactra7 for a week but still -0- measurable nutrients ?

Do you have any fish or corals? How about a full tank shot? What do you feed and dose each day?
Yup
Fish and corals. I’ve beaten Dino before in an old tank but didn’t have a skimmer or scrubber in that one so I don’t know if they are compounding the probelm

I feed 1 cube per day mysis or other. 6 fish lots of cuc
