Reef converter

I have just purchased a second hand reef tank with live rock and some corals. Got home and sorting out rocks and came across these 2. Now this is my first reef setup so could be jumping the gun a bit but would like to know before returning them to DT. One is on a seperate piece and the other is in a position that could easily be broken off so would like to know if its something that needs doing now.
