Red Sea Aiptasia X, and read the instructions about using it

You need to approach the Aiptasia slowly with the syringe and then squirt it before it closes. I sort of hover the syringe about 1 inch away.

nearest lfs is an hour away. i’ve heard of using lemon juice or vinegar, is that as effective?

Lemon juice works if you somehow have a hypodermic needle & syringe on hand. I don’t :( lol

You can mildly irritate it so it retracts and put a big glob of super glue or kalk paste over it in a pinch.

Absolute best method I’ve found IF you can pull the rock out of the tank for two minutes, pull it out, pour kosher salt on the aptasia, leave it for a couple of minutes, rinse briefly with a little rodi water and put back in. Gone.
