So we buy a shipping module, then return here to click back to their site to purchase? all purchases made go through the same shipping module?

Yes it is pretty awesome how it works you just need the one shipping module then they put all the purchases you make into it. That way when you see the ones you really want you can just buy them right away before they are gone. Last live sale I ended up with 6 individual purchases and the shipping was seamless. I think they have one of the best platforms for live sales out of any of the ones I have seen. And their customer service is some of the best I have encountered.
