The Aquacultured Brazilian Longsnout Seahorse is a captivating and graceful species, widely admired for its delicate body structure, unique swimming style, and vibrant color range from yellows and oranges to deep reds and blacks. This seahorse species is particularly popular among experienced marine aquarists for its elegance and compatibility with reef tanks. While Brazilian Longsnout Seahorses can live in some reef environments, avoid tanks with corals that have strong stinging tentacles, as they can injure the delicate seahorse skin. Instead, opt for soft corals, macroalgae, and gorgonians, which can create a safe and naturalistic habitat. For their continued health, provide multiple small meals a day. They will thrive on Gamma Frozen Mysis Shrimp and Brine Shrimp as well as Nutramar Live Artemia.
