Quick question. I've got some Life Biofil on the way and am wondering if I could use my existing RO Biochurn reactor for it? Only issue I might foresee is it being a bit too small for the amount of Biofil AF calls for.

What corals you planning to keep?
Do you use Aquaforest salt? Same numbers after mixing?

Right now I plan to keep it a soft/LPS tank but this can always change. Yes I use all Aquaforest products. [emoji4]

Same numbers after mixing?? Not sure exactly what you’d like to know. [emoji846]

As you remember the tank was last seen with the beginnings of the ugly stage as you see posted above. Now we have the uglies in full swing . No Algae issues at all but the brown dust as I call it.... has taken over. This is completely normal [emoji4]

So going forward... today I plan on taking a few tests and most likely doing a massive water change .

That tank makes uglies look good ;Jawdrop

I agree! Like I said ... no algae to speak of just the dust. Couple water changes and time. We will be all good. [emoji4]

I have a couple more fish to add yet that have been in quarantine. Right now there are 6 blue green chromis in the tank. Soon there will be 10. [emoji6]

Nice.

Did you do anything to the rocks prior?
Wash, acid, vinegar etc...?

I just got a couple boxes of stax for my new tank.

Great question! I did absolutely nothing to the rock. I didn’t even rinse it off. [emoji6]

I agree very clean and easy to use. How much rock did you get?? How big of a tank??
I had a forced downsize, had to go sumpless.
Ordered a 50 lagoon.
Have 20# of stax and 20# of marco boulders.

Playing with it now. These are extremely fun!
