Aqualife “L” bracket - supporting MH pendant

I installed a mount to suspend my MH fixture, it a Aqualife Bracket rated for 10lbs and the Hamilton Pendant is rated as weighing 5 pounds. Even though I’m under the weight limit, I’m nervous the vertical ba, might collapse into the housing. Reason being, it’s only a know with threaded piece pushing up again the vertical rode (adjustable height)

I would have suspended from the ceiling although realized recently that right above the tank, is a air duct

any safeguard suggestions? last think I was is the right bar to collapse and the MH is swimming. Will

Also, I will connect to GFI circuit ( then into the Apex ).
