hi everyone,
i’ve had this aquamaxx skimmer for my 60gallon system and after 8months of working just fine, after i did a deep clean of the skimmer, it now spits micro bubbles out of the export and doesn’t work properly. i’ve tried everything. i’ve opened it all the way up and also raised and lowered the simmer height. i don’t want to buy a new one. any suggestions?
the video shows my skimmer in a 5 gallon bucket in a depth of 9.5”. the recommended height. (8”-10” was other operation heights for the skimmer). i couldn’t deal with all the micro bubbles so i put it in a 5gallon
