Aquamaxx Deluxe w/o wall mount

Hello!

Just got my filter in the mail today, and I am taking my first look at the manual. I would prefer not to mount this on a wall, but take it out and (for example) just stand it up in my bathtub while it runs, then put it away again. The images in the manual seem to indicate that I can just set the thing on the ground, standing upright on top of the three plastic filter sections. Anyone know if that's actually safe to do? The device itself is pretty hefty, I don't want to break those filter pieces.

Yeah their support wrote back and said I can just stand it on the ground

You can simply stand it on its filter canisters and use it.
