Has anyone experienced their less than one year old Q5 skimmer’s pump, Shark 6.0, rusting?

I am waiting on Marine Depot to call me back to see if this is a common trend.

Aren't these simply rebranded sicce pumps?

Anyway, metal (probably stainless steel) in saltwater - not surprising to see rust. Maybe the rusty bits will help control phosphates. :p
