Bit of background on my experience.

My first job (12yo) was in a aquarium shop. I spent every cent I earnt at said job, in said shop. I had a 4x2x2.5 South American tank, a 4x2x2 barramundi (Australian) tank, and a 6x2x3 reef. When I turned 16 I got a real job, sold my tanks and stock. 25 years on, and much yerning later I have the opportunity and capability to start again.
In summary, I realised I have forgotten most of what I knew, and a whole lot has changed...
So, even though I know they are harder to keep stable, I decided to start small, mainly to check my commitment levels.
A tank came up on Facebook cheap, reasonably well kept and local, so I grabbed it. To my disgust a red sea reefer 250 turned up online 2 days later, but I had committed...so here I am.

As purchased the system is:
Aquaone 120
AI Prime HD light
AI Nero 3 (I think)
Wavereef skimmer
Aquaone return pump and heater
Livestock:
2 Orange gobys (not really sure on these)
1 baby blue tang
1 flame back angel
2 pajama cardinals
2 trocus
4 pepermint shrimp
Corals...these I am not sure on, I know I have a heap of green mushrooms? A toadstool, a clam and the rest I am sure you will help me identify.

Advice and knowledge would be super welcomed. 20221205_125935.jpg 20221205_125844.jpg 20221205_125816.jpg 20221205_125800.jpg 20221205_125732.jpg

Thanks blaxsun.
Thats a good start, I have 4 of them in the tank, all different colours.
I target fed them today for the first time, very interesting little guys.
Thanks Tcook, I have definitely 2, maybe 3 wellsophilia (but in different colours, 1 of which is brown orange and green, but seems to be bleaching).
Then the plate, the toadstool, the mushrooms.
The one I cant work out is this guy

I dont think I have a blasto.
I ordered a war coral today, to add some colour to the tank.
I love the orange plate. Most incredible colour.

Look like a duncan. Also, to be entirely correct the term wellsophyllia was dumped and they classify all trachyphyllia and wellsophyllia as being in the genus trachyphyllia.

Make sure you give the war coral plenty of space.

Today's development:
My little tang seems happy as Larry, but....there is always a but...

He seems to have developed a small white scratch on his belly. To me it doesn't look like itch, but I'm sure you all know more than me, so?
Who would be willing to help?
