Hi everyone,
This is Nani from Taiwan, i recently gained interest in marine and reef aquariums. I have 5 freshwater tanks in my house. now im planning to start my first marine tank. being a newbie in the field i have so many questions in mine... i was able to find most of them in google and youtube. but for one specific question, i dint got answers till now. my tank is 80cm long * 28cm width * 30cm Depth .. for this type of tank ..which light would be suitable ?... im concern about the depth since most of the tanks i have seen is more deeper ...initially my tank will have only fish for a few months but im planning to start small reef system in later run.

please suggest me one light solution below 150$ or less to cover my tank ..

thank you

Hi Nani.

You could maybe find 150watt MH locally. (Get a big hood if you can)

Or do a cheap blue LED strip now and add 24" T5 later when you get your coral.

If haven't recommended a specific light, it just depends what options you have to purchase. These are options you can piece together, some of the parts aren't even aquarium specific..
