Hey guys I'm a new reefer from Hong Kong and I wanted to get some feedback for my aquascape.
I am using Marco reef saver dry rocks and i still have plenty of extra rocks.
I made a cave like structure because I wanted it to look natural, I also made a small cave on the top right corner as a hiding spot for fish.
My display tank area is outlined by tape ( back filtration not included)
I also included a video to provide a sense of space.

Here are a few things I would like to know:
1. I used a few base rocks on the right to build the structure, does it look odd / unappealing?
2. Is the small rock / island too small? Should I use a larger one?
3. Any kinds of feedback/advises will be nice :)

I think it looks fantastic! after it's in your tank you may need to tweak it a little, you don't want the rock work to close to glass for easy cleaning.

BTW.. welcome to R2R!!

It looks good but I think it’s too vertical on the front. You might have a hard time putting corals on the font because of that.

WELCOME TO R2R!

Remember to have space in the back, don't put the rocks against the back. You will want to have a small powerhead blowing water behind them so you don't have a detritus sink.

Yes, I do reserve space in the back, would a 1-1.5 inches small gap be enough?

nice set up. I leave 3" behind, but my nano is rectangular so front space is a premium. My test is if i can get my metal tipped glass scraper all the way down.

I really like how much horizontal space your created from the top down look. I'm forever mounting frags along a vertical angle.

It looks great to me.
You can see the geometry and seams just a touch, but it will be totally hidden by coral, coraline, and all that.

On your small cave... the left hand side of it. Looks like the front face will be pretty shaded. Depending on what species of coral you'd like to see there, maybe stick on a small piece of rubble rock or two to get an added perch or two in the sun.
