Just arrived today, looks well made and solid.

The only issue is, the instructions are lame. As in they tell you nothing.

Has anyone used this RO/DI and if so how do I connect the tubes and which is the "dirty water" and which is the end product. It really isn't clear. Thank you.

Yeah thanks, this I don't think is as important as where they actually go on the RO/DI. What I was meaning to ask was which is my water and which is my waste as in, on the RO/DI.

I have slightly different colour tubes, but obviously all being same diameter would fit in any of the connectors, but I don't know which water is to be waste coming out of the system nor how to connect them.

Thanks, sorry for not being clear.

Cannot work out how to connect the pipes as there are plastic things in the way which seem permanently attached. Plus the connector for the hose attachment spurts water everywhere.

I thought these were simple to put together.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

An exact brand and model would help and picture

Aquati 5 stage 50gpd. There was no other model or anything.

The side pic is what is preventing me from connecting the pipes.

The side pic shows "in" im pretty sure if I could get the plastic off the tap would go here.

At the top is a long piece of pipe with a plastic attachment on the end. Then on the side of the resin canister is another connector like on the photo. Same plastic cover thing on all connections.

I have no idea which is waste or filtered water.

Thanks in advance.

Your good water will come out of the di canister (the right side in the picture) and your waste will come out of the membrane (not the side that looks to be already hooked up to the di). The blue keepers come off of the connectors so you can disconnect the the hose (or in your case it looks like their are some plugs that need to be removed).

Brilliant. Thank you. I can hopefully hook it up now. Will drop a message when done. I was worried about damaging the unit as the plugs are solid so I guess a little hardee tug with players or similar.

Thanks again.

Just remove the blue clip, the shove the collar up and the plug should pull out pretty easily. I've never used this brand of filter but that is how all of these type of connectors work.

Thank you. I'll give that a try as with other advice on here and leave a message when done.

Thank you to everyone here who has advised on the rodi. I got it running now all be it very slow. But I think that is a combination of a leak on the hose connecter, which I broke trying to connect so I have ordered 2 new ones. And the fact that there's loop after loop in the pipes as I haven't yet got it all where it will be going. But pleased its now running.

Tested within 15 minutes of flushing 2ppm then after 30 minutes it dropped again to 0 ppm. Im pretty pleased with that.

Thanks again all. Much appreciated
