I have both banks of my hybrid into one apex outlet, labeled T5-Lights...

2-Blue+ , 2-Actinic = 210watts
2-AL Led “t5” , 2-Actinic = 184watts

Hmmmm.. so about 79w for 2
184-105= say 40w each.
1/4w each diode. 80mA each.
Possible.

There are a few watts less at the diodes w/ ballast vs direct drive but not much.
Cumulative diode watts of anywhere from 27w and up is a "55w replacement"

I have one side that is doing a very random very very, milli-second type, fast blink when they come on, and then that bank turns off. First time I’ve seen this. I will check all my connectors and report back, but unlikely as is been a few days. The other side is fine.

Everything was tight. I cycled power, they came back on for about 1mins and turned off again.

I will be swapping bulbs to see if the problem follows to the other side.

Unfortunately one of mine is giving me issues. I removed the side in question and replaced it with my original blue+ bulb. That bank seems to be ok now and stays on. I left the other side as is.

So currently my bulbs are...

2-Ati actinic
1-Ati Blue+
1-AL Led t5

So I conclude one of my two bulbs are bad. I have attached a photo of the bulb I pulled out. Everything is fine except one section. It is sorta grayed out, like it burnt out. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not, but it’s the only visual issue I see. I do not smell any “burnt electronics”.

Now what? Haha

The previous iteration of these type of bulbs were a massive failure a few years back due to glitches with certain ballasts. Thanks for testing as I think these will need a full long term test.

If the spectral graph is basically a 460nm spike it's hardly a Blue+ replacement in terms of spectrum. This is no different than adding an led strip without all the risk of incapatability and potential shorter life span than a typical LED strip.
