Hello everybody,
this is my first post and never been in a forum, English is not
my first language especially when it come to writing.
So please, I am open to suggestions and positive feedback.

Übung macht den Meister.

I am planing to get a new light for my new tank and wanna use
Aquatic Life 61" Hybrid T5HO. I like the look of t5' the even spread with
not to much shadowing. I also l do like the shimmer of LED's. I read here on
The forum that Kessil is pretty much the king when it comes to shimmer.
What else does everybody here use with there t5's so they get some
shimmer.
I really like what i heard about the ReeFi Uno but not sure if they
produce a shimmer with the t5's or how much.

Thank you all for your help, I learned so much, reading here in the past
couple weeks, this is such a great place of knowledge and just very
nice polite people . I am happy to be a part of this group now.

Thank you

Wow, that's beautiful.
thank you
my new tank is gonna be 72"x30"21". I am gonna
start with soft corals but want eventually add at a later
time SPS, how many fixtures do you think would I need, and
do you think that for softies only 4 T5' at 80w gonna be enough?

Yes, for softies start with the Aquatic Life Hybrid fixture with 4 T5's then later add the kessils as needed, if budget alows, add kessil now and run them at low intensity for the shimmer you really are looking for.

Check out my build thread. I have a 48 inch AquaticLife Hybrid and I use the @noopsyche lights. The controller is a little retro (understatement), but the lights are outstanding and cheap.

And welcome to the R2R community!!
