Hey to all the Control Freaks, I found a couple rolls of this and it is perfect for keeping all my Apex cables and wires sorted. You can see in an earlier pic my ATK in a bundle and my probes in their own.

@Catchemall Nice looking and fits the decor. You know I have totally overlooked using wood!

Thank you. Hopefully it’ll help someone out. I couldn’t really think of anything at first but knew I didn’t want to go thru hangin on the ceiling because knowing me I’d have holes everywhere and lights dunked into the water haha. Also by the way let me know how you like the aquatic life fixture I may add it to my 360’s as well

The adaptors for the control cables came in handy otherwise they stick 2-3" above the 360's and was very noticeable, that one power cable needs to be trained to lay down.
I am looking to close the gap between the hanger and fixture and will think on that but for now I'm DONE! and moving on to my Tank and finish installing & playing with my Apex.
BTW I ended up using 1/8" walled aluminum tube, Stainless or steel tube would be a good choice due to strength, the 3/4" tube can only do so much and a 1" tube would be much more stable. I actually found a Online metals outlet not far from my House and paid a fraction of what the suppliers wanted I'll find that link and post it.
I chose aluminum because It's Cold here and I didnt want to Paint. On a last note I think I might slip some black shrink tube over the top side of the supports. HEY thanks for getting this far with me, hope it helps.

Nice work Siggy! Didn't realize this thread was up too, but I'll try and add some of my progress pictures as I'm doing an under-shelving mount using some aluminum 90º extrusions as posted in the main AquaticLife thread. Found out my cousin has a milling machine so I should be able to do the slotting as I had hoped, picked up the aluminum today :). Also realized that I had already purchased some 3', 2' and 1' dual 90º stereo jacks in anticipation of this that I had completely forgotten, haha.

Thanks! @Kyl , When I seen your project the other day I was under the impression you were going to use
Roller Bearing Slides to pull the fixture out for servicing, also you wouldn't have to mill. But that could end up being a Pain in the ars .

I thought about that, but it seemed more involved than I'd like, and potentially a magnet for grime from cat hair in the air plus salt water 9 inches below. There's also a question of rigidity should it get bumped into, I'd hate for a rail to pop off and half the fixture come crashing down onto / into the tank.

I used shelf brackets as well. Still need to clean up the cables and put a shelf up but overall happy with it. Light ended up centered on the tank.

Looking good! I see you don't post a whole lot so Thank You for sharing your tank here. BTW how do you like that Auto feeder? I would worry about dispensing too much.

Thank you, I just set the tank back up after moving so still have a few projects to finish up. Getting the fixture hung was the main one. Overall I’m happy with the auto feeder. I have it on a low setting for two times a day.
