Hello all.

Im a new member but have been reading a lot here in the last few weeks, on this forum mostly and anywhere else i could do research, going to be purchasing a peacock mantis shrimp and ive been cycling an Aquatop BFT-13 (13.5g) i believe, im curious on the oxygen part at this point because im a newb to mantis shrimp, the tank itself i feel may not be oxygen rich enough, or maybe im just being paranoid (dont want to lose my soon to be bud) i have read they are sensitive in this area of o2 and im wondering if its design is adequate, and feedback and pointers outside of this thread would also be very welcome.

Going to be busting up a little more of the leftover rock for him to have more stuff to move around.

I had a Fluval 13.5 gal and couldn't imagine sticking a peacock in it. I have one in a 40g breeder and it seems to be the perfect size. I'll let more knowledgeable people chime in but I think you should be looking at a different species of mantis or a larger tank.
