I’m running 3/4 from the top on the display
And 3in from the top in the return.

Well, have a leak between the main display and “sump”
It’s the bottom 6 inches of the divider. Not sure if this affects anything. only figured it out doing a water changer. Emailed aquatop to see what they have to say.

Also during water change found my watchman. He’s been MIA for about 2 weeks. I hope I didn’t kill trying to get him out.
he’s super thin and weak. He took some pellets before I attempted to suck him out. That didn’t work so I had to bend up a net to fit the chamber abs was able to lift him out. Should have tried the bent net idea first. Stressed the hell out of the poor guy.
he’s resting under a rock now.

Well that’s a wrap on the 40.
was a good run. Fantastic starter tank and highly recommend for the money.

used the split seem as an excuse to upgrade to a 90.
will have the aquatop 40 up for sale once my warranty tank gets in. (South MS. Will make you a killer deal if anyone is interested.)
