We are still working on the spread sheet for the sale but out of the 1400+ pieces there are already 142 $5.00 corals. And every coral purchased gets you one entry into the drawing for the Holy Grail Torch.
And some of these $5.00 corals are worth staying tuned to the sale.

Here are some Euphyllia teasers and two of these corals will only be $5.00.

Whoever gets these two for $5 bucks is one lucky... oh wait that's going to be me :)

@A Reef Creation i can’t wait! Looks like it’s gonna be a killer sale!!! I do have a question though. What type of putty is it that you guys use for mounting?

We use the Holdfast from Instant Ocean with a small dab of super glue under the putty and then again on top. It’s helpful with Acros and Torches to keep them held up on the plugs. The Acros encrust the putty faster than they do when just glued straight to the plugs.

And this is actually safe to let cure in a running reef with thousands of dollars of coral? Or do you make these and let them cure before hand? I guess what I’m asking is, I’d think the water volume in your growouts would be enough to handle something borderline reef safe but would it be safe to use to putty rocks and coral down and let it cure in a MUCH smaller running system?

Yes, its safe to use. Even in smaller systems. Everything in moderation though. In our smaller systems we try not to overload it with new frags. If it's not harmful to the fresh cut flesh of the Acropora as it's pressed into it, it has little to no impact on the reef environment or chemistry. We do send out Triton ICP tests every month or two and have not had any alarming pollutants show up.

Coming from you guys that’s actually awesome news!!! I have a little vermetid problem keeping me from placing a few sticks just where I want them and don’t want ugly super glue patches. If I can safely cover a swath of my rock for each of them to cover without interference from the vermetids or causing other issues to my reef is great news!!!

Yeah, I use the same putty... you just need to turn your skimmer off for a bit... It hasn't hurt any of my corals or fish...

I've used the colored puttys before also, without a problem... It is an epoxy and they recommend you shut your skimmer off for 24 hrs cause it makes them act nutty... but no issues with livestock...
Awesome!!! Thank you @A Reef Creation and @MightyMO! I have a fairly large media reactor that I picked up for my dedicated sps build, I’m assuming running it in this smaller system when I use the putty would probably be a good idea as well? May also shorten the time needed to leave the skimmer off?

With over 100 frags priced at $5.00, it only takes one to possibly win this Grand Prize Holy Grail
Torch.

And one of the $5.00 frags will be a nice Hellfire Torch!
