Arcadia LED T5 retrofit tubes are a new product recently launched that allows you to swap your old standard T5 bulbs with an LED lamp giving you flexibility in your lighting without having to invest in an entirely new fixture. There are four flavors of Arcadia LED T5 tubes a Marine White (18,000K), a Marine Blue

I have 5 blue then a regular purple atI bulb in my red sea max 250, i had originally bought 2 of the white bulbs but the white was way over powering, so I change to 1 purple bulb. I have seen decent growth with Lps and sps. They defiantly put off way less heat then regular t5s. Not sure that i would go with this set up if i didnt have the hood on my tank i would more then likely get a ai set up that i could change colors around on.

How’s your tank doing with those Arcadia LEDs? It’s been six months! Give us an update!
I’m thinking of using these myself, but there really isn’t much info out there yet!
