Local reefer? I've never seen such a colony of blastos.
Colorado seller on EBay. Shipped yesterday and arrived this morning. The pic doesn’t do this massive beast justice. Unfortunately, the cabbage doesn’t look hot pink in my lighting. They had Kessils. I have great lighting but I think they tweaked it or something..filters? Idk

I just bought a mother load colony for $229. It’s the Merletti variety but I am so glad I did. I will have to get pics now that it’s in my aquarium but I love it

I have had luck on EBay. Where do you usually go? I bought on saltwater fish but it is hit or miss with them on every level.

Well I live in orlando and it seems that it's the epicenter of east coast reefing. If I'm looking for frags I just lowball WWC ebay auctions for weeks until I hit what I want for ten bucks. Other than that I stay watching fb and Craigslist for teardown.

I do the same thing. Sometime cl has desperate movers. I buy the whole tank if it comes with coral and equipment cheap. I never do the Facebook thing.. I guess I never wanted everyone in my business.

Yea I do the same. Funds my hobby almost completely. Crazy how many people are out within 6 months. Always high end equipment too. I never find huge colonies though.

It's not hard to get amazing stuff very affordable if you just look. If i had more space I would purchase a bit more. The only problem I have is I my non stop upgrading. It's getting ridiculous. I need to to focus on coral lol

I think I will frag this holiday season. If I could I’d have a swim in tank. I just looked up the guy in Israel and the guy in N. America with the largest personal tanks the other day. They were phenomenal. Upgrading is where it’s at but it is costly. I might want to invest in an algae scrubber soon. I just have to read more on them. What all do you have? I have an unconventional set up. For the 180 ...lol

I love blastos! I hope they don't become popular... More for me if they don't!
