So I have been out for about 5 years. Have recently got back in and set up a zoanthids tank. I have purchased probably 35 different types of zoanthids in the last couple of weeks. I have noticed that the same zoanthids and paly's I was purchasing 5 years ago were much larger than the ones I'm getting now. Take for instance my pink hippos and my rainbow hornets. Do you think it has anyting with people running LEDs

Yes and no... LED lights are not stunting their growth, however it’s much harder to replicate the spectrum and intensity that t5 and Halides provide... shadowing is another issue... however I have seen large polyps of zoanthids under LED lighting you just have to find the proper spectrum, intensity, along with good flow and water parameters... just my opionion lol I’ve only ever used LED lighting my new frag tank is going to be t5 so I’m gonna give it a shot
