Are majanos really that bad? Or do you find people exaggerate it?

one came on a recent coral purchase and it’s kind of pretty. How quickly have they multiplied in your tanks? 04C1020A-41C9-4457-9E86-9CB345645155.jpeg

Majanos are not as prolific as aiptasia, and they are easier to kill, but they can crawl around to all sorts of hard to reach places, and they can split as quickly as once a week, so it gets away from you fast. I keep them in my display and control them as needed, but it can be quite taxing depending on how sensitive your corals are to their sting.

Theyre not. Due to many cool colors, many reefers will actually collect them. They are not the stingers and multipliers aptasia are and slower growing

I didn’t know they came in different colours! I thought they were all green. I’ll have to look into them more
