I came home to find the cap to one of my mushrooms behind a piece of live rock and this white bulb in its place.

I have to admit I'm new to coral in general, but I've had these mushrooms for about 5 months and haven't seen any problems before.

Look like the mushroom detached. The white thing is a harmless pineapple sponge. Shrooms will detach from time to time I wouldn't worry too much if you're water parameters are good.

I have had mushrooms transplant themselves all over my tank. I would only worry about them if they start losing color or are expelling their insides.

Look nice and happy. When they are sick they will turn inside out or melt away. In addition to letting go and setting adrift I have had several pinch their cap off, leaving the foot behind to grow a new cap and the cap adrift to settle and grow a new foot.

Looks real happy to me. They wonder a bit, detach...pop off etc...you will learn that shrooms are almost impossible to kill.
