Are there any protein skimmers made in the USA?

Hey now. I’m just curious if there are any skimmers made in the USA? I wish we had if we don’t. It’s nice that ecotech is “made in the USA”

im not knocking China, Taiwan or Italy Or Germany. I know just because it’s made in the USA doesn’t mean it isn’t made with foreign parts.

Aquarium engineering is also made in USA I believe. Cost you and arm and a leg though! (For big tanks)

I like Vortechs but the made in USA part is a bit of a laugh, more like assembled in USA.

Brands that came immediately to mind for the OP are Avast, Geo (if he makes skimmers?) and LifeReef. Not sure if the acrylics are sourced in USA too, though.

that’s messed up. Ecotech says everything is manufactured in Allentown PA.

Sort of. Somethings are. There are plenty of videos showing their office. They manufacture some things. Others are imported and added during assembly. Depends on the product

Love my LifeReef..... Not sure where all the parts are from. But Jeff built it in Colorado.
