Are these parameters adequate for a FOWLR tank?

I am using the salifert test kits. I won't be putting fish in yet since I got a faulty AI Blade. I will be adding chaeto and pods into my sump though.

Let me know.

0.03 ppm PO4
0.0 NH3
10.3 KH/Alk
350 Ca
450 Mg
8.2 pH
30 ppm NO3

The tank is cycled, right?

What do you have planned for the tank?
Tank is cycled. Ammonia hasn't gone up after adding brine shrimp cubes to it.

Stock would be:
1 Starcki Damsel
1 Percula Clown Pair (x2 fish)
1 Mandarin Dragonette (kinda don't want to deal with it but I have pods)
1 Tailspotted Blenny

Would these parameters be okay for a softie/lps tank? I will up the Mg but what about everything else?

Somehow I missed the Mg value. My brain read 1450. I don't believe 450, as it's not possible unless your salinity is 1.009.

Stocking looks reasonable, depending on tank size.

Parameters look fine.

Tank is a 29 gallon and a 10 gallon sump with a little refugium with pods.

For reference, I am using instant ocean (not the reef crystals).

Will do another test.

just a little heads up, i know that this is a FOWLR but if you do plan on getting coral i would recommend getting the reef crystals as the purple bag doesnt have enough minerals. you can do it but it will require more dosing.

Minerals such as? (Genuine question)
Dosing isn't too bad. I'll mostly keep an eye on Ca and Mg

ok so i am sorry for the late response but the purple bag lacks CA and other minerals, but the one thing that it really lacks Mg. it lacks all of the proper minerals for coral but mainly Mg and Ca

I'm going to do that. Seems odd that it's so low. I am using the test correctly.

For reference: it's an old bucket of salt. Like several years old.
Is it possible you are reading the chart backwards? People have made that mistake.

Anyway, there isn't much reason to test Mg in a fish only

Completely false. There are lots of reefs of the month that run on regular IO. Public aquariums too.

You are supposed to read what is left right? Not the amount you used? Like I used only 0.3 mL of the reagent, therefore 0.7 mL is left which would make for 450 Mg ppm.
