I wonder if a bristle worm or amphipod won’t come eat them in the sump. I guess we’ll have to see. Doesn’t look like bubble algae though.Bubble algae has always been green when I've seen it. Although very young algae may be clear? I'm really not sure. I've had it in my tank before but it was very minimal and I haven't seen any bubble algae in months.
I did detach them and dropped them into an empty snail shell. Then set it in the corner of my sump for now.
I suppose that's possible. I thought about putting them in a media bag. Not sure that would help or hurt or if its pointless. Personally, I would just sit them midway up the rock in your dt in the shell. Just make sure it’s a spot where a fish like a tang couldn’t get to it.I suppose that's possible.
