Are these the snails that I think they are?

We have seen 4 or 5 of these pop up in last few weeks.

I assume they are younger versions of the adult snail in the attached photo? One has a shell that looks iridescent but that may be algae? Impressive how fast they can move compared to the adults. I assume it is do to the shells being very light at this stage?
