Are this Digitate hydroids attached to acropora?

Hey reefers, got this acro the other day noticed some weird looking hitchhikers on it. Doesn't look like a tenticles to me. More like digitate hydroids. Never knew they could attach themselves to acropora. Unless I am wrong in my ID?

Most likely. Sadly I don't know how to control them in that situation.
My go to for invasive hydroids are dwarf angelfish. I don't know if you want that with sps.

I chucked the acro away already. Its not for certain that it wil disappear. I can't take the risk of that pest spreading in my sps dominant tank

You really wouldn't want that. Seems to be, I saw someone posting about an sps hydroid before growing on his monti cap.
I wonder if it was the same thing. Also, it kept spreading.
