Artfully Acrylic will not honor warranty on lid

My original two Tsunami lids failed and were replaced (a 22g and 25g). I chose to order from this company two more times as I was happy with the service. My classic red sea lid is holding up but I made the mistake of ordering another Tsunami lid as I was told they were made stronger and would be replaced under a 1 year warranty if I had issues.

The lid is breaking and cracking in under a year and they will not replace it. They offered 30% off. They stated because they already replaced two other ones prior that they would not replace this one but they also told me those previous ones were defective. Not sure why defective products should be an argument for anything.

Here is a snip of them saying my older lids had known issues and would cover new lids as well:

After telling them my issues, I was denied warranty because of my previous defective lids. FYI the repair was the overflow cutout not fitting correctly and nothing to do with the tsunami pieces.

You tell me you stand behind your products in one post then take a 360 in another when I have a problem. All I want is my 1 year warranty. I promise never to order another Tsunami again but would like to continue to use classic lids.

That's not what the person wrote, they specifically said "waste your time/energy".

Would you not check three or four times before placing a custom order? Gaslighting? I call it lucky I didn’t order one.

Great, I’m glad you did. After the research I’ve done there’s zero communication if there’s an error and you’re pretty much left in the dark. That’s why I wanted to email them three or four times to make sure I had the correct dimensions and she told me I was wasting my time? Go to google and look at some of the reviews. I’m glad it worked out for you. They didn’t even come to this thread and defend themselves?

Sad as if it were built right the first time, you wouldnt be writing this.

I have a drop off tank and lid built by them and apparently was lucky as both are well built and good quality

I went with Kraken lids. Took a month and they are top notch. Kraken lids is where it’s at.

The Artfully Acrylic Pisces EXO is the way to go. I'm going to order one to replace my Tsunami lid on my 425. Lighter than the Tsunami. Awesome lid!

I don’t understand why they put so much design on all of the sides? All the small squares with screen in them? Way too busy, and way too expensive. I’m glad you like it.
