As a hypothetical, What would you say when someone says reefing sucks.

Depends on the mood I'm in .....

Most likely I'd just nod, smile and move on. Might say, hobby doesn't suck but maybe you just suck at reefing. Or maybe I'd agree/commiserate, then offer to take their livestock in a way that appears to be doing them a favor

I had an ex girlfriend that her parents always gave me a hard time about my hobby saying things like “Are you still playing with your fish and coral?”. Meanwhile, her mom collected purses that sat in a closet collecting dust. Never said anything but I often think about what i would’ve said. I stayed humble.
