3 month old 20 gallon waterbox AIO tank, have been buying copepods from algae barn and LFS. Started with dry Marco rock. No live rock. Dosing phyto, and algae barn PNS snow and bacteria (corals love it btw).

I’ve had an explosion of white dot looking pods. I’m thinking these are maybe ostrocods? Here is video. Legit they are over everything. I’ve had reef tanks for over a decade and I’m just getting back in it and building my dream waterbox 100.3 and I’ve never seen these before.

all my corals in the tank have been cut off plugs, dipped and inspected before going in.

Yeah it’s pretty crazy, never have seen these before in my tanks even with buying copepods in the past and they are EVERYWHERE.

I did use some Nutriseawater too to test it out. Figured maybe a little biodiversity from it. Not sure if they came from the Nutriseawater, Algaebarn or LFS pods.
